dont know about the torker, but I did have a performer RPM with a eddy on top and it was able to fit under the flat hood.

If a performer rpm fits then a torker will surely fit. The rpm is a lot taller than a torker....probably an inch or so taller. RD races 3rd gen Chargers Andy....i'm sure that's what he was referring to.

On my 71 with a 400 an Edelbrock Performer with Thermoquad and Summit chrome air cleaner/3" element cleared the stock flat hood. The problem was the first time I took it to the track and the engine torqued in its mounts the wing nut put a dent in the hood from underneath. I had to replace it with a hex nut to keep it from happening again. I've since put a bulge hood on but I just thought I'd share my experience.

Next couple of days I hope to test fit the SB Stroker with the Edelbrock RPM Air Gap.
I am more concerned with the oil pan (cudaken says I need to notch the K frame :-[), but I think the Air gap intake and 800 EPS is gonna be close too...

I have a Edelbrock Performer intake with a eddy carb on top of my 383 in my 71. I run the larger air filter so I use the dropped base, or whatever they call it on the air filter and have no clearance problems.
