pitman arm to center link torque #

got pitman torqued to steering box without getting pancaked under charger, or blowing a nut, now I cant find torque value for PA to center link in my manual(foot lbs please none of Nacho's fig newton meters) never mind found it

What did you find for torque number, 100 or 175 lbs?

Hi, Mike, I got a 74 box and pitman arm so my values might be different, I used 175(the shop I go to said to). I'm at work now, when I get home I'll look it up in my service manual. I am replacing tie rods right now and I do it the lazy mans way replacing whole assembly, if you need the sleeves when I get done just give me a shout, I screw the new ends into shafts til theyre same length as old one then install them. talk to you tomorrow, Dave

went through my 72 FSM, no luck finding torque# for that. sorry, Dave
