First off Mods, I have no idea if this thread would be better suited in the classified section. I thought seams how this is a question of worth rather than selling???? I don't know???

The story...

I found this car about ten years ago. It had most of the front clip and the tunnel which is why I bought it. I have sense cut the floor and removed the parts I want off it. I would like to keep it until my "Twin Turbocharger project" is done, but we are renting our home at the time and a "second none moving pile of junk" is not an option. SO is the car worth selling or just scrap it?

The car is a 383 car but nothing else is special. I'm pretty sure I got a title, but I cant find it at the moment. The car doesn't have much to offer as far as I can see..

Rear glass, rear axle, rear bumper and some chrome is worth something. Should I pull those parts and let the rest go?
Twin Turbo, Fuel Injected, Coil-on-Plug, 69 Charger.
Little to no cutting to make it all fit.

I can see the roof is discolored from rust , but is it solid? Maybe it could be dipped. MsMopar

Toss it in the for sale section & take offers, as it is good enough that I would not scrap it if mine.

Someone with alot of parts like the member who parted his out this would be an ideal car.

Start looking for the title. :Twocents:

If your willing to scrap it, I bet someone on here would be willing to pay you scrap price for it, and come get it and you won't even have to fool with getting rid of it. Even if it isn't restorable, looks like it would be a good car to cut patches out of, use the framerails (if they are good) etc. Looks like it could help someone out.

Maybe a good roof shell and some other NOS patch panels.......

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Don't junk it.

I can see all kinds of parts I could use on my rusty T5 Copper '69.

Too bad you're a bazzillion miles away (Based on the scenery in the background of your pics)

...Otherwise I'd be hooking up the trailer and raiding the cash stash right now... :brickwall:

Somebody here would love to have that car as it sits...

Don't scrap it..   That is the way I like to get them..   I'm interested in it if you are not too far away..   So Cal here.

I just spent the last two hours searching for the title. NO LUCK... :'(

Don't junk it!!

People are always b!tching on here about chargers in Hollywood movies get distoryed or some something and here yet you just ask us if you should scrap it or sell it.. I say "sell it". Scraping it would be just like hollywood.. and you all are always complaining about that.  ::)

I bet there is some dude or dudat on here that are just looking for a project or parts.

Skyview69

I agree don't scrap it.  It can be useful to someone.

terrible one

Looks better than some other projects I've seen!

Seriously though, aside from the solid overall shell I see a decent rear bumper, wheel well trim, back window trim, dash frame, etc. just at a glance.

Wilde Racing

Two sections of the tunnel was cut out along with the torsion cross-member. Truck section was cut-out (it was rusted). The frame and floor pans are in great shape. It has the typical rust holes in the rear window corners. and both quarters are rusted/dented. The roof looks solid but a couple support beams are bent. There is almost nothing left as far as the dash components go. The radiator support lower beam has been cut.

I can take some better pictures. What should I ask for something like this with/with-out title???
Twin Turbo, Fuel Injected, Coil-on-Plug, 69 Charger.

That car is in much better shape than a few of the 68s I've had. If you've got a spare K-member, get some suspension under the front and sell it as a roller...

If you're parting it out, I'd be happy to buy your drip rail trim (if it's straight). Contact me at charged1969@hotmail.com!

It may be more trouble to try to save it for someone, but it really would be a nice move. With the panels available from AMD and others, the car can be saved and bring alot of happiness to someone.

ChargersETC..ETC..

Save it! :Twocents:
If it's for sale what is the asking price? :shruggy:
Hard to consider purchaseing a car if it's not for sale yet.
Good luck finding a title some states the titles were small and very basic so don't give up
if you have a pile of paperwork it could still be there . What's a old Nevada title look like
anyway if thats the state your after? Anyone know

Cooter

That car is as bad as My General lee clone was when I got it and it had NO TITLE...If someone is always b*tchin' bout the prices of these cars, then here's your chance t get a '69 Charger on the cheap...I dare someone to bring this thing back, cause it takes some big ass balls to do it...

I say junk it. After all, Dynacorn will soon be repopping these bodies & you can practically build a new one from all the AMD sheetmetal that's out there so who cares, right??  :shruggy:

Wait for it....
