I found this wire on my dash harness when I removed it.  What is it for?

looks like the brown wire that takes power from the  windshield wiper switch & goes to the windshield washer switch  :yesnod: , well  on a 69 it does  ,  prolly the same for a 70   :yesnod:    :popcrn:

this was the same I was to say. Usually is being attached to wiper pigtail with a piece of cloth tape, to keep everything together
