Yes, the calipers have the parking brake option built in to them.

Good Choice !

:2thumbs:

I saved a picture of a Road Runner painted in 2006 Go mango...

I wonder if it's actually the same color you picked, just a different name ?

That sure looks very close to the same color.  I believe the black body line stripes will really set off the car.   Thanks for the photo...   :2thumbs:

I've seen it on a four door charger in bright sunlight.

It really looks sharp. :coolgleamA:

I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about painting my "other" '69 Charger this color.

IF I ever get around to working on it. :eek2:

Again...

Good choice of color.

Planned to be done at the end of March.   :2thumbs:

Update on the schedule:

I decided to to have the car painted in two phases...   first phase is the engine compartment, interior, and inside of trunk.  This way I can get the car back in about three weeks.   This phased schedule prevents the car from just 'sitting' as the shop has a very busy spring and summer and nothing happening to it.  I can then install the newly rebuilt engine which will be 100% completed at the end of Jan, transmission, floor shift, carpet, interior, and begin working on the electrical, and putting things back together.  I will then work within the shops schedule and should have the car back to them in late fall for bodywork and painting on the outside.

I will only have the car out of my sight for a couple weeks as opposed to a few months which I see as a tremendous positive.

CDN72SE

Like your plan, I will be following along closely. Great work so far.  :2thumbs:

The Garage is empty...    :2thumbs:

I have a very detailed & line item specific contract signed by both myself and the body/paint man.

Now... we wait...    :icon_smile_big: :'( ::)

72Charger-SE

Update today...   Call from the body/paint guy...  decklid not usable as my weld repairs I performed resulted in a non-repairable bulge/warp on the top (outer) skin.   :brickwall:

Sourced a new 'used' decklid today which will arrive next Thursday...

Maybe a TIG Welder would have helped?  But I barely can use a MIG...

Man that sucks :flame:

But good recovery nabbing another deck lid instead of sulking over it :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

72Charger-SE

Well now I have the original decklid with a poorly repaired tail panel and the other decklid with a wavy top..  two deck lids that could be made into one perfect one...  Perhaps I will talk to a couple guys (welding professionals) at work and see if they want to give it a go?   With the right tools and some time I think I could have one really good decklid built and then resell it to recoup some of my costs...  ?   :2thumbs:

What, opinions are not allowed?.  I have rights over your rights DH.

Anyway, After looking at this color in person. I Actually Like it.

Charger-Bodie

It's not your right to tell him what to do. You are constantly telling people you hate the color , etc of their cars......
