I'm about ready to put in my sound deadening insulation and I was wondering what I could/should use to prep/clean the surface of my floor pans before I adhere this stuff down?  I have a gallon of DuPont Final Clean for some other painting I'm going to do.  Can I use this stuff?  Should I just use a household solvent like Windex or rubbing alcohol?

all i do is use panel wipe (degreaser) &  treat it the same as degreasing body panels  before painting , :yesnod: although that stuff sticks good ! warm it up to press in to shapes & stuff also as you go with a hair dryer or hot air gun , with the latter becareful you  don't get it too hot , as that stuff holds the heat  , would NOT heat it up on the inside of big flat body panels that are painted on the out side  , un less  you are familir with doing this type of stuff , can warp or blister paint if you get it too hot
