Okay, now don't blow my head off for showing a new Charger. I seached Dodge Charger with side pipes and I found this. Those are the style of side pipes I would like to put on my 72. (provided they do fit like I would like)

greenpigs

It doesn't look that bad at all, the smaller diameter pipe helps. Big pipes like on a Cobra would overpower the look of the car.

Yea thats exactly it, I don't want the pipes to be the main focus. I just want them to kind of accent the other chrome on the body. :yesnod:

Well I have came by here a few times. Now I have to open my mouth I think it is a cool factor to have side pipes on a muscle car if I were in my 20s I would probably think about putting them on my 67 to go with my scoop. I think the chally looks good but it needs some centerlines or crager SSes on it

Back in '82 or so, I had a set of Thrush side pipes on my '72 SE.  :coolgleamA:

Yes, they were hooked up and sounded good. :2thumbs:

I only had ground clearance issues when the pipes would drag in the deep snow here in the winter.

...Yes, horror of horrors for you youngsters reading this,

we DROVE these cars year-round back then,  :scared:

in all weather conditions. :misbehaving:

A few years ago I bought an NOS set of these side pipes off of e-bay. :woohoo:

I have a rusty, green '72 Topper that I intend to make a 70's style custom out of. :notworthy:

These pipes are going on it. :apimp:

Along with a few other "vintage" goodies.... :whistling:

...Fender flares are NOT out of the question on this one.... O0
