Gas sending unit adjustment

Hey All! Any ideas on how best to adjust my send unit/float? My '69 reads 2/3 full when topped off and sitting flat. When I get on a small hill and give the ca a bit of a rake (rear up, nose down) the guage will read full.

If I pop the sending unit out of the tank how is the best way to adjust this?

Bend the float arm down a bit when you remove the sender...you may have to do this more than one time..make sure tank has less than 1/2 tank of gas when removing sender
