I'm looking for some info and I'm hoping someone here knows... I'm looking at buying a 74 power wagon but it needs brakes as I don't have the rig yet I don't know if its a D300 or a W300 any idea?

Thanks

Ron

FJMG

 D = 2 wheel drive
W = 4 wheel drive
100 = 1/2 ton
200 = 3/4 ton
300 = 1 ton

Power Wagon was an option group on W models only (afaik), not sure if it was available in all GVW ranges but it seems to more frequently show up for sale as W200. I have an original 1978 sales tech brochure, I will see if I can dig it up.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Id say its a pretty good deal as long as its not all rusted out and beat half to death.
