I just bought a set of 15x7 Magnums from Specialty Wheel and 245/60/15s.They have the standard 4.25 back space. They rub on my firm feel sway bar and hit the frame rails just before the steering is maxxed. I have read about many people on here running a 245s with no problems so what gives. I do have the A-body spindle conversion and the motor is not in the car so the nose is sitting a little high and the car has not been aligned yet. Do I need spacers?  Thanks

Are youy sure the stock steering stops haven't been modified with this "A-body" conversion? Maybe the wheels are NOT supposed tpo turn that far...

It's possible you might get a slight rub on the frame rail at full lock with that combo. Really no big deal unless you intend to do a lot of high speed maneuvers at full lock. I've had 235's rub.

I ran 255's in the front with no real rub issues except when turned full lock only to the right going into a driveway.....stock susp setup with the SW 15x7's as well.
Running 245's now.  Im thinking the A body spindles have thrown the geometry off?

Thank you for the info. As far as the steeing stops go, aren't they just the tab on the bottom ball joint that hits the lower control arm? Thanks again.

I think I may have found my problem after reading some of the other posts. I forgot to mention that I do have the firm feel quick ratio pitman and idler arms. Has anyone modified thier steering stops to prevent rubbing?

not sure man -  i had 235/60/15s on the mag 500s with standard backspacing and they rubbed at full lock
