I was at my moms house the other day and seen an old photo on the computer desk. I picked it up and seen there was an old car that  someone was leaning on. The photo is from 71 or 72 , and is very faded and in bad shape. So I stared a little harder and seen a R/T stripe around the ass end. Then I remembered my uncle telling me of some "green R/T" my mom had years ago. It turns out that her brother in law let her have it when he went overseas for the Army. Anyway I noticed the trunk key locks position, and seen how it kind of goes in the trim on a 70.Im 99 percent sure of it being a 70 Charger R/T. It looks like a lime green with black top and black interior. My mom says it was an automatic. Get this....she said she sold it for a few hundred dollars. Interesting This is the first time Ive seen or heard of it being a Charger, even though my whole family knows how I am about my 68. Crazy.

My mom had a 70 R/T SE,440 automatic car too. It was triple F8 green. It was our family car from 1971-1982. She sold it for $650.00,with an NOS Drivers side rear quarter panel. Someone wacked the left rear quarter, and they bought the panel, but never fixed it. I used the car several times, when they went on the road(my step father was a long haul truck driver) and raced the kids from school with it! I never lost a race! I told the guys that I could beat them with my moms car,I guess they thought my mom would have a station wagon or something! They were wrong!

As long as you have it sized correctly just click the reply button. Where it says "attachment" go browse for the filename you want and select it. When you post the pic should be there.

You don't need to put the link in the attachments window.

Just cut/paste it between [img*] [/img*] tags (minus the *s) to make it appear in your post. :2thumbs:

A Falcon????........with a stripe around the ass end? Look at the vinyl top,the rear window, the bubbled out quarter panel... Am I the only one who sees this? Compare these two pics, maybe this will help.

Look at the deck lid..that isn't a Charger. To me it looks like a 68 or so Ford Galaxy they had a slightly sloped roof like a 68-70 Charger and the vinyl top option.

I think I'll sit on the fence on this one for a while. Do you have any other photo's from another angle. Something about the roof line just doesn't say Charger to me. Seems the rear window goes more straight up and down than a chargers. It doesn't have the slope to it, but it could just be the angle of the camera during the picture too.
