I've bought a bunch of stuff from him both online and at shows and have never been disappointed.  I've even paid for stuff at a show where he didn't have the part with him and it was mailed out to me as soon as he got back home.  He's also a Charger fan at heart.  It definitely sounds out of character by my experiences with them.

Once again amazing differences of how a business acts with different customers.  Boggles the mind?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Two years ago at Carlisle I paid for a set of frame rail connectors that he didn't have. He sent them as soon as he got home and he paid the freight.  :shruggy:

Whats there to leave out, i ordered a part, paid over the phone, i should of had it in a week, not two weeks, not three weeks, not four weeks, i would expect a phone call or an e mail saying hey bla bla bla, they ignored me and im pissed, wasted a few weeks of my time, my car is ready for paint and thats all i was waiting for so now i probally wont put torque boxs in. Maybe its just me or my imagination.

Who said you'd have them in a week? I just ask because when I worked in mail order we didn't have a screen that told us whether something was in stock unless we specifically looked (ie the caller had to ask if it was going to ship out that day). US Car Tool is a much smaller company so perhaps their idea of checking stock is to holler out into the warehouse/shop to see if any parts are on the shelf. Either way, if you mentioned that you needed the parts ASAP someone should have verified that it was possible. I don't think this problem is common and I'm surprised that no one there has tried to help.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

i believe you, but they told me it was going out on a monday, a few days after it was ordered, i believe 5 days at the most to get to Ca, right? and i dont remember the persons name. all they had to do was call me or e mail me, how hard is that.or return my message i left on their answer machine.

I happen to have some personal knowledge of the situation.  They're having severe financial difficulties at the moment.  I might hold off on ordering from them until we figure out if they can get it all together...

i figured something like that was up, these are hard times, i wont bad mouth em then, i wish them the best of luck, i never heard anything bad about em before this, later dudes.
