Hi. The 1965 442 is awesome i had one  bitd. :2thumbs:
1969 Charger  R/T SE 4 spd dana

WB General Lee

I love the lime green Superbee. What was the story on that one? There was a go mango one near me that sat outside for years in the same condition and when I though I am going to find out about it, it was sold!

Brock Samson

I'd love to find an am AMX like that... any stories behind those finds?..  :popcrn:

TheAutoArchaeologist

The Green Bee is actually a clone, a Coronet 500.  It used to sit out next to a barn for years.  Here is where I first found it.

The AMX, 442, Stude and vette I knew about years ago, just never got a chance to see them up close.  The guy was selling them and a friend of mine was looking at the AMX.

ACUDANUT

TheAutoArchaeologist

Sorry, I don't think it is.  The guy is still working on getting it running.

Brock Samson

six or so years ago you could buy pretty much any AMX for $5 or 6 K max. I bet their a lot more now...  :popcrn:

That is actually right where the guy was on the AMX, but it needed atleast a quarter panel replaced and the whole car re-painted.

ACUDANUT

So he is pricing some things huh ?  What about anything else (price wise) ?

so depending on your skills and resources that could be a deal,.. is it a 304 4 speed?..  :popcrn:

It is a 390 Go-Pack Auto Car.

And he was looking for like 2800 for the 442.  And I never asked about the Vette, Stude or Cutlass Vert.

Brock Samson

other than the Barris custom I've never seen an AMX done right... I bet there could be an awesome one made if someone would invest the time and $ in making a killer protouring.
anyone here still remember member "Halfast"?..  he had a sweet '71or '72 Javelin for a while and a friend of his was doing up a sweet red/white/blue AMX that i never got to see finished... still would really like to..

not being an expert i don't recognise the yr/model of this,..

looks like a story worth being told... hint, hint,..
those orig. '30's Fords, are worth a lot to the rodders...  :popcrn:
I'd love to have the resources to do up a blowered side oiler Phanton myself, in candyapple red with halibrands...

     :drool5:   :yesnod:

ACUDANUT

"CARS IN GARGAGES"  I didn't see a Barn. LOL
Seriously, can you see if he would sell the snow cat ?  it never hurts to ask...I know he is working on it, but you never know. !!

TheAutoArchaeologist

The whole last stop at my friends place, they certainly were Barns, the other two.. eh.

I'll ask him about the snow cat.

ACUDANUT

Found this snow cat on e-bay for 1800. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280608549159+
