Some time back you were asking about names to give your new dog and my sug, was Angus. What did you ever name that dog. Don't ask why I thought of this now. Just currious. :shruggy:

Sorry, I meant to post in the pet thread but I get sidetracked every time I think of it. I named him Jack - short for Jumping Jack or Jack in the Box since he leaps around like a fool for little or no reason. He can clear our 4ft fence with almost no effort and he's managed a 6' fence at least once. It's a game to him.

He's been an awesome dog too! He's very affectionate and gentle and excellent with my nieces and nephews. My sister and her family have required me to promise to bring him over at least once a month. Even my mom (who only has small dogs) doesn't mind having him over - and she even made a bed for him and stocks special (big) toys for him.

He's like a Ninja too - mostly always in stealth mode so you're never quite sure where he's going to pounce from. He's got one of the fastest tongues I've ever seen so you have to be able to deal with dog slobber. He believes he's a lap dog but, at 50 pounds, not everyone else is convinced.

He's a hound so he has a pretty powerful prey drive. He's different than all of our other dogs though as he doesn't bark and chase - he drops into an "army crawl" and sneaks across the yard. I once saw him stalking a rabbit on the other side of the shed using the same technique as the cops (tilting his head so he could just barely see around the edge and then pulling back to readjust his position). Too much TV I guess! Sometimes he just sits still and lets them come to him. He hasn't caught anything yet - he just likes chasing and playing. He ran across a 5 point buck in the side yard once but it didn't run so he wasn't sure what to do. He mostly has ADD but can be intensely focused for long periods of time when he wants to (watching squirrels is one example).

He's learned that our Shepherd/Chow isn't very friendly and likes to bite so whenever they're actually playing now he's learned to keep his head back and will "hip check" her if she gets too close. He has also learned it's a very effective technique on my sister's Pit Bull when she gets too rowdy.

He's still pretty goofy and keeps me laughing so it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my mental health. :P

Here's a video of him riding in my 68 Charger R/T:

Nice video....  My dog love to ride front seat also. Jack is a good lab name, a friend of mine has a lab also and his name is Jake. I also checked out some of the other videos you had of the Black Pig. I can't wait till I can let my dog ride front seat in my 69. I have not thought of a name for my car yet......I am waiting for the car to tell me. Thanks for responding, you have a cool side kick there. :2thumbs:

Just for clarification, the Black Pig is Ron's (firefighter3931) car. I was shooting videos while he was driving.

Jack liked my pickup almost as much as the Charger and he thought the Tahoe was the coolest thing ever since it had heated seats! He has a harness now when he rides but he still sits the same way.
