The Devil Drives A 68 Charger!

I was watching a new cartoon on adult swim called God, The Devil and Bob, towards the end the devil drives up in a 68 and proudly announces that it's a 68 Dodge Charger with a 440 and glass packs. Friggin awesome it was, you gotta look for it :2thumbs:

It was an awesome show, lasting 3 weeks before it was killed by the PC police. NBC had balls to show it and then was chicken shit and ran away fast.

The Devil (voiced by Alan Cumming) - The Devil is trying to persuade God to destroy the world, and is constantly trying to thwart Bob in his attempts to save it. He is a margarita drinker and drives a purple Dodge Charger described by Bob as the "coolest car [he's] ever seen". Despite appearances, the devil is needy and co-dependent, often reduced to tears when God ignores or forgets about him. He also goes into vicious rants when he loses a game (i.e. bowling with God).

So it's based on a true story.

The part about a purple charger being the coolest car he's ever seen might have been based on a true story.

The rest is based on speculation, ruomor, myth, and a really old incomplete mis-translated book, written by human beings, the true context of which we may never know.

Appearantly too many of those who feel as you do complained about the show, and it was cancelled.  I never saw it.  Was it any good?  Funny?  (I mean, I know at least one episode was good, it had a charegr in it, but......)

Wow, talk about speculation! How could you know how I feel about anythng if I never posted my feelings on a subject. Besides, God has a great sense of humor, He created every 3rd person ugly, so if you look to your left, and then look to your right and don't see them, guess what! You're IT!!!!

The only thing that struck me as funny in the one episode I viewed a couple days ago is when the devil drives up, gets out of the car and said "68 Charger with a 440 gets 6 miles per gallon". It's well established the bad guys drive a Charger. But the devil? That pretty much takes the cake. So the message I get from these writers is, my car is pure decadence.

I think it'd be funny if God drove the 68 and the devil had an 06. (a V6 powered one at that) :D
