Brock Samson

Not a long list but all MOPAR.  :shruggy: In the order of their purchase... beginning in 1975.

1966 Dodge Custom 880 Four Door Hardtop 383, white W. black gut. High School Car. great cruiser but too damn big.

'74 Dodge Tradesman short wheelbase Van 318 Shortie side pipes Camo. Int. Aggresive rubber with dog dishes, An Ex-carpet cleaning van. I fixed it up with removable bed for camping an double duty hauling my band's Equip. and car parts. rebuilt the engine 'n oh the stories that one could tell..  :icon_smile_wink:

'69 Dodge Charger R/T S.E. my dream car wanted since I saw the new '69s in Motor Trend. Rescued literally from the crusher, I backyard Restofied it with two friends. It took 14 years to finally whup her into Big Block shape, but driven nearly daily with a souped up 318 since two weeks after it's purchase. Bullet Proof since 1999.

I don't have pics of the others..  :shruggy:

'89 Dodge RamVan 150, Short Wheelbase 318, Ex-painter's replaced the '74. Those Vans are Bullet Proof.  :yesnod:

'89 Chrysler New Yorker Black Burgundy Int. bone stock. Very low mileage, so clean and cheap I couldn't pass it up.

'99 Chrysler 300 M my daily. Took two years to find one exactly like I wanted with the Performance Handeling Package and color Combo. I could stand. Several were sold before I could even get to them,.. really glad with the purchase and would buy another. 20 times the car the '89 NYer was.

'71 Plymouth Road Runner 340 Stock Gold/Black I was looking for a '71 B-bod for a daily driver, but that was really a bad idea.  :eek2: She's in Sweden now after having been flipped three times in three Mos. One of the cars I always wanted, on my bucket list you might say, but so is a Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB 4,.. but that sure ain't gonna happen.
  :P

'78 Dodge Chinook 21' RV. super clean and low miles. Special ordered with everything Deluxe Incl. 440 Motavation for a Millionare who seldom used it in 32 years. I've changed the starter, added two pillows a rug and stocked the fridge.  :D

So that's eight.
I also had a perfect
'76 Yamaha Endero 125 dirt bike through most of the the '90s. I sold it after an lucky break accident that frankly scared the living crap out of me. I bought it with nearly 50 miles on it, the thing was showroom fresh, but I started Bikes way too late in life to really take to them.  :shruggy:

I know what you mean about the bikes, I didn't list any but DAMN if they were not street/trail bikes I'd be dead, my dirt bike experience was all that kept me alive in this town. Some never even saw me, much less knew they ran me into a ditch.  :o

Brock Samson

I had a young girl maybe 8 or 10 years old walk her bicycle directly into my path from between two parked cars, I had only a split second to steer into the nearest parked cars hood - 'n that flung me 30 or so feet - I broke both wrists and lost all the skin on my upper left arm as i barrel rolled on the pavement... If i hadn't done that (like I planned it:eek2: exactly as it turned out, one of us would've most likely been killed, I either would have run her down at 30-35  MPH or I would have suffered sudden impact trama hitting a vehicle square, as it was for me, the force of my impact was dissipated over the long slow motion skid along the sandy sidewalk, this was out at ocean beach...  Anyhow, her dad came running - picked her and her bike up in each arm 'n threw them both in a red Ford Bronco... (funny what you remember)  :shruggy: and burned rubber getting out of there. lucky for me a Paramedic saw the entire incident came running and called 911.
An afternoon I will never forget etched into my mind forever, despite the great drugs at the Emergency Room. That in itself was a trip... But It soured me from riding ever again.  :-\

I guess compared to you guys I like to use the wheels off something before I let it retire. However a lot of you have to count the cars you were building. So in that I am married to the "A-Body" King...and neither of us is restoring an A-body...yet...there is a '70 Dart...

My friends look at me like I'm a nut job.  I get bored with cars after a while, so especially in the 90's I was turning cars like underwear.  I was driving about 50k a year also, so I kind of justified it at this point.

Well, you know your a car nut when I've owned 5x as many cars as my friends -

You had to restart this one Cody.... NICE. :2thumbs:  Just so our sickness is more apparent?

Probably 150-200 hundred easy....but i gathered most of them up and stripped and parted them. I have 10 right now, and had 5 all at once when I was 16. I have never had less than a a half a dozen at one time.

Same here, bought the majority to part out, I stopped counting after approx 300+ E bodies, dozens of 68-74 Chargers, lots of C bodiy engine donors...not counting the carcasses I picked clean in salvage yards, and other motorheads yards/garages....hundreds since the late 70's...at one time I had a 6 bay garage and 4 storage units packed with parts....you don't want to hear about the stuff just "thrown away" to make room for more "stuff"....sold lots of stuff over 3+ decades though, so while a lot got destroyed to lend their parts, at least the parts went to vehicles being built rather than rotting away..
