Will a 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing fit?

Whelp turns out the rims I want don't come in 4" backspacing 

Will 15x8 with 3.75" fit under the wheel well of a 73 charger?

Kind of depends on your choice of tire.

can just about get away with that   back space on a second generation with a 235/60 tire ,   if thats any help    tire really close to the arch lip though   1/2'' from memory might be less , forget now

, was going to get a set of them at one point  some time ago , but wanted to run a wider tire than a 235

Just realized you can get em custom order from Cragar for only about 20 more per wheel (according to summit, which is pretty reasonable)

Gonna call em tomorrow to find out.

  custom back spacing  never realised that they done that !! on  that style of wheel !  ,

Whelp I called summit and got on the phone with an idiot (which was great in the end, you'll see) 

Called cragar and talked to there sales dept, they said no problems wheel can be backspaced to whatever I need (between like 3.25 and 5.5 or something to those numbers) but I needed to order from a distributor.

Called up jegs this time instead (found out they were cheaper than summit at 45 a wheel) talked to there sales and the guy said no problem 15x7's at 4" and 15x8s at 4"...so I ask how much. Get this, only an additional 10$ per rim!

I read somewhere that 15X8 might not work if your running the 2" drop spindles

Not sure but I'm going 15x7 in the front as I have 255s which should fit fine on a 7" rim.

255s fit fine even on stock iron 6" ( I have them )... maybe not the best fitment, but it fits
