Oh I've run it for 15 years MOL. (6 or so years the whole car just sat stored) I have the center carb off, replaced with a Holley re-man (with the vent tube on top) one. I thought I had a problem internally with my list-4392, turned out the wrong gasket was used for the base to intake. The carbs and intake are all off that GTX and all that is left of that poor car. It has run and still runs super! Only thing left to "match" is the build on the 727, I have a 145K TC and am looking for details on how they were set up internally for six pack cars. Thanks! (I even have the correct spacers that go under the LCA rubber bumpers!)

684 or 116, I still want one! I passed on an ultra rusty orange V code many moons ago. I can't really regret that one as it was one of the rustiest cars I'd looked at.

Just to kill the 116 debate once and for all....out of the over 2,600 70 Chargers registered the 70 Charger Registry has 131 V codes registered so far.

The 116 number originated a long time ago, about '86-'88.... MuscleCar Review magazine did an article on the '70 Charger R/T v-codes. I remember eating lunch ('84/'85) with Paul Zazzerine(sp) who was a chief editor for the magazine then I believe. We talked about Hemi-id'ing, mopars, etc(he's a Pontiac-guy).. The 116 number came from the R/T SE total production. It later came to light that is was the 684. I remember thinking to myself back then I had 1 of 116.. But, then I found out soon after, the higher number (which actually makes much more sense).
