Nice, so you're replacing your non-leaking exhaust. Is that the place thats in your back yard?
Yes, and it got a hole in it. And I hate the headers.  :2thumbs:

You also need the Hello Kitty exhaust tips.    :yesnod:

They need to talk you into a bigger rear too (for the car of course) if they talk you into the 440.
They won't talk me into it. I like my small block.   I need a bigger rear end. Gotta be the 1st time I ever heard that.
That's funny.  How long have you owned the car?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

This does feel great.  I've owned the Challenger for 6 1/2 yrs. I'm finally getting things done that have gotten pushed aside.

I agree with staying with the small block.  I owned a Challenger with a 383 and it handled like a brick compared to the 340 Challenger I have now.  What rear end do you have under it now 8 1/4 ?  If so I would look for an 8 3/4.  You can still put alot of junk in your trunk, what ever way you decide to go  seriously, progress looks great. Keep up the good work. :2thumbs:

Just ordered headers, exhaust and a mini starter  :yesnod:  It does have an 8 1/4 . AC cars had them , non- AC had 8 3/4 . Go figure, something Dodge would do  :shruggy:   Don't worry Tuffy, I'm on a budget , I can only go so far.  :2thumbs:

Jackie,

Nice to see the chally is coming along nicely.  I thought you had that more than 6 1/2 yrs.  Sheesh, here I thought I had my charger for a shorter time than anyone.  Charger is going on 10 years old this year.

I just got back from the shop. Rod has the tranny pan on. He cut of the exhaust.Fired it up with open headers.  :clapping:  He'll have the headers off today . So he can replace the oil pan gasket.

If you decide to have the engine rebuilt, I might be able to hook you up with a couple of guys (you remember Dave from the Daytona throttle incident?) that do really good work. We'll catch up when I come out then....
