I got the wrong parts don't I

I have a coil that looks like this...........been on the car a long time.

Again it's been a long time, and it's electrical so it might as well be Greek.

That coil don't go with that upgraded ignition system now does it.........


what coil do you guys use and where do you mount it.  I was told long time ago not to put it ontop of the manifold, for some reason I can't remember.  Something to do with arcing maybe.

I dont see what the problem is.

I have that ign kit and pretty much the same coil (same package different label).

All right.  Very good, thanks for letting me know.  I thought it sounded like there was a different coil for for a distributor with points (this coil), but I never heard of such a thing.

Guess I'll keep looking for the gremlins in this thing.  Car runs strong thru 1-2, now it does.  Takes a crap between 2-3.
