Anyone know where I can find a blockoff plate that goes on the top of the intake manifold? Preferbly in billet aluminum.

Hey Frank - Why don't you just make one?

I did - 1/4" thick piece of aluminum.  Cut out in seconds with a hacksaw.  File/Sand smooth.  Drill holes for mounting screws.  Polish if desired.  :2thumbs:

I have a piece of aluminum you could have - shoot me your address and I'll ship it to ya!

Thanks Paul!

I had some time today so i cut  out that piece of aluminum you gave me, i think it looks good just need a gasket and need to sand some parts a little smoother. I counter sunk the screws, i may go with allen drive screws but i like it as is.

Opinions?

Now that I'm looking at it closer - I don't think its the same shape.  I have the Indy Dual Plane intake - I think the side by the carb is flat.

I'll have to check it out.

That looks great, nice work Frank  :2thumbs: No need to install a gasket under it when using the Felpro #1215 intake gasket because it blocks off the heat crossover. The cover at that point is purely cosmetic.  ;)

Get a 1/2in 4 hole phenolic spacer to help with conductive heat to the carb. It will also give you some extra room for the carb linkage which can be a problem with stock manifolds and Holley style carburators. Don't forget about the 20-7 holley throttle adapter....you need it with the PF/Holley carb to maintain proper throttle cable actuation.

Is the one you have on there the right shape? When the cars packed away for the winter just give me that one and ill use it as a template.
