I bought this for $400 at a car restoration shop near by, it was used as a parts car.
It's an original R/T and the metal that is there is solid.

Talk about long term project. :eek2:

with all the repop metal out there now !! & it being an R/T i would rebuild it !!  not difficult just time consuming  to do a factory appearing job  :yesnod: , has it a fender tag ?? :popcrn:

Since you are overseas and a Second Gen Charger doesnt come up for sale all the time, i would slowly start buying parts and put it together if you have a money tree and unlimited free time.   :Twocents:

Seriously? you would rebuild that! I guess i shouldn't show you the pics of the R/T that i scrapped to rebuild mine.

That thing abot 10 times as good as what mine started out.  :brickwall:

I've parted or scrapped cars in way better shape over the years, so I wouldn't touch it. The others are right though, some people have done quite a bit of nice work to cars in that shape & worse.

anything worth doing is never easy, it just needs the right person to "want" to do it.  if you fit that bill.. do it.  if i had the cash and a place to start such a huge project, i would be on it like white on rice.  BUT sadly.. i dont :D

DO YOU HAVE A TITLE and  do you  want to do it??  Its  not much bodywork more panel replacement. Get a 2 door B body to pillage  parts that aren't made and repro the rest. There is definitely enough parts out there to do it.

A real R/T? With A/C to boot?  :scratchchin:

Looks like it was a pretty solid car before Mr. Sawzall did a number on it. Consider this, a lot of what was cut off is probably found rusted anyway on other project cars. So, consider that step of the job done already. It's already started for you!  ;)

Cheapest way out is to buy a nice done plain jane Charger and transfer all the parts over to this body.
Or transfer the tags to the plain jane Charger  :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

I know it's an R/T, but it looks way past dead. Sometimes you have to know when to pull the plug and let go.

I do not have a title with it but that will only take me 2 weeks and $300.  It is/was a light yellow R/T with a vinyl top and tan interior, console shift, stripe delete and airco.

I started taking my other '69 Charger R/T apart for restoration a few month ago so if i ever going to restore it it is going to be years from now.
I just couldn't leave it sitting on it's frame rails overgrown by weeds in the guys yard. :scratchchin:

It would cost more to fix that then it would be worth done.  :eek2:

Isn't that the way most of them are anyhow?

Its a bit more of a project than I would take on. Though, if I was independently wealthy and didn't have to work I suppose I might...

I would repair it.. that looks to be an easy repair job.

Now for the rest of the people on here. I remember a time when people would complain about people jumping chargers at dukesfest's and other events! How they always cry it was ruining a charger or killing the chargers or how they didn't like the Dukes series because they jump the cars. Or movies that had chargers in them that got totaled and the people would say "another charger(s) died for a movie". NOW we have people asking what they should do about something and yet some of these same other people that cried about chargers getting totaled or killed in a movie are now talking about leaving the chargers go that can be saved :o . What ever happen to "to many people are killing chargers off now days for things". This charger makes no different as it's a charger.

Yea, super easy. ::)

Anyhoo, a lot depends on the direction you might want to go with it. I'd think it would be quite a pain to go back to original but a custom job would be much more doable.

Amazing how much $400 gets you now a days. We paid $400 for my 75% complete running '69 318 Charger back in 1998.....
