I have a 69, 10inch drums in the back, with 84 5th Avenue disc brakes in the front.  The car originally had power brakes and it still does.

I'm not getting any juice to bleed out the back, I changed the master and now looking at the distribution block on the frame rail.

The question I have is, where do I get a proportioning valve.  I don't believe mine ever got it(the mechanic that installed the stuff didn't believe me when I told him the magazine article said you need it off the donor car)
so where do I get it Advance Auto and Canadian tire both say it's a dealer item ($$$???)

If I got an aftermarket one I can see myself constantly doubting it and adjusting it......

I could get one from the wreckers possibly,  but really, should I?

NHCharger

Year One stocks a lot of proportioning valves. Could try Jack's or Dante's.

It's been a while, but I am pretty sure I bought one for my '69 at Inline Tube in Shelby, MI.

Check their site via Google.

Yes, Inline Tube does in fact have proportioning valves. They are running $85.00

Yes.   Inline Tube was the first to repop all of the various proportioning valves and in brass like the originals. Prior to that, all you could get was the cast iron proportioning valve from Pirate Jacks and I think used on 72 and up.  If you talk to Inline, be careful since most of their guys don't talk Mopar.

ok another thing.  I've been looking online for too long.  What is the rubber hose at the back of the car (brake line).  Steel line then rubber then to the union to split to either rear wheel.

anyone know a part number?

This was late to me since I was so stupid to get it from Rick Ehrenberg around 4 years ago, overpriced of course with the story about a NOS part, I did bite. Of corse, nice to get the related hardware, but it was not necesary to me.

Since I found ClearlyAuto, I am pretty much happier than before! My revenge was when I found there the AC dryer on LESS of half of price that Vintage and Classic auto air sells! mostly sure, same piece. GOT TWO IN FACT.

( search was made to my car, but you can change and fill your search, mostly sure will fit the same )

Note the price, not even $30 :o ( against Rick! )
