Help! lights flickering

My lights recently started to flicker/blink when i accelerate. Is this my alternator? My voltage reg was making a popping sound until i replaced it but the lights still blink.

is it just flickering of you meen get brighter when engine revs increase

check first for good conditions and clean terminals all around

Well i took my radio out and felt the back of the alternator gauge and it was really hot and I jiggled it and the gauge started started working again and it fixed my problem i guess they were touching a little bit.

Theres also a brown wire just hanging behind the alt. gauge do you know what it could go to?

16 brown goes to heater blower motor switch theres a brown to the radio, but that should be in your bunch you removed with the radio plug.

just a note, is not really an alt gauge, is really a batt gauge

tipical problem... loosen terminals all around.

be sure they are clean of dust and rust and tighten them again, to save from future problems
