1970 500 318/727   3.23 gears.

Typical charger rust, back light, trunk...etc.

Car runs and drives okay. Needs a full resto (sheet metal, wiring, interior ..etc)

Moneys getting tight so I'd like some opinoins on what she's worth.

Thanks!

I've bought pretty much all the metal from AMD for my 70,along with a fender, door, lid, trim

Figure on about 9k just in metal.

Interior ~$3500

15k plus just in parts. Not even talking labour yet.

Seems like most guys that buy projects invest some money in them. Never get them done and sell it off. To this guy who does not realize the end cost might pay $5k for it. Then when in deep realizes that the cost to fix it will be more than its worth done and sell it.

just my  :Twocents:

From the pics the unibody looks fairly solid. Floors ok ? cowl, front clip looks solid.

Remember in 70 the 500 was just a trim package.  Some people try to equate the value of the 69 500 with the 70.  They also had a 500 package in 71 with the third gen.  Some of the 3rd gen Gurus may be able to break down the #s but I believe the 71 500 was rarer than the 70 :nana:

I own this car..............just trying to find out 'whats it worth' incase I have to let her go. :scratchchin:

I'm also well aware that the 500 model was just a trim option over the base model in 1970. :slap:

Don't let it go. Its paid for. Park it & cover it until you can afford to do something with it. You'll regret getting rid of it. I know I always do no matter what Mopar.

Well I found the even more elusive '74 charger 500 for a discounted rate of $62,000.  Maybe he'll accept a trade.  Ppfffff, what are people thinking?

I now what you are saying. I was at a local cruise night the other day & a guy had a 66 barracuda for $65,900.00. All stock original appearing small block car, not a big dollar pro touring or Hemi conversion car or anything. CRAZY.

To stay on topic here. I'd say 8K  :shruggy:
Or I can trade my 71 Charger for it  ;D
