727 with b&m shifter and stall converter

Alright I was going to put a 4 speed manual in my SE 69 charger. But after talking to lots of people for now going to put my 727 in that a buddy gave me. I want to put B&M shifter in that mounts to floor not center counsel like the floor look better and put a stall converter in. Questions where to get for best price and does the stall converter come with trans break or is that a different animal. I have read about stall converter just don't know all ins and outs of it. My engine package will be 440 with a single 4 barrel carb for now when get money will be 6 pack carb.

I understand that a trans break locks firsts and revers gear but not quite sure how stall converter launches car after reached 3000 to 3200 rpm?

The trans brake is in the transmission, the converter has nothing to do with it.

The best place to get a recommendation for a converter is from the converter maker, pick a brand or two and give them a call with your specs and desires.
