couple of questions about Laptops

It was kinda a Fantasy Island about the DVD unit... went to search it personally and, yes is true is the unit with the PN posted, the unit I wanted but WAS NOT the one pictured INITIALLY. It was with the front lid missed and I won't buy something uncomplete.

If you would like I can check with my resident Tech expert, he is 17 and as we all know teenagers know everything!  Really he is very good, with some parts from his friend and some money from me he made his own computer. It rocks and it only cost me 300.00 in parts from "New Egg.com" for way cool high tech cutting edge guts. (At least they look that way to me!)

just got the T5600 CPU, and is working nice!...

The guy selling the T5600 had a docking station available for sale on the counter, the advanded one PN PA287A. With the laptop I got, also got a dockingstation PA286A, what is the basic one. The advanded has the Multibay II port to insert any extra optical Drive or HDD able to fit on the slot! THATS NICE I'm trying to get now an HDD to fit in there and get more storaging. Also carries an Express card slot and 2 more USB ports ( 6 in total )

Now will need to sell the PA286A.

Shame, the PA287A came without Transformer, so will have to keep the one from the PA286A. The only deal is that as far I have found, the advanded Dock PA287A is provided from new with 135W transformer and I have the 120W from the PA286A. Is working though, but want to keep safe the station when I find the HDD for the Multibay II slot so will keep searching for the righ one, and then will try to sell the PA286A complete with transformer.

I couldn't pass over this Dock... price was dropped from 450 Bs. to 250 Bs. ( thats around US$35 on black market currency exchange ). It looks seller wanted to get rid off it LOL.

It had also several DVD drives, but no one like the one I'm wishing.

( the NAS unit will be my dream right now LOL, it has already a 160Gb HDD inside )

it states SMART CHARGER ADAPTER but both Docks I have right now are with regular plug chargers, not the Smart one ( what uses a diff pin conector )

Must to remember I'm going with this ON THE CHEAP... I'm trying to build the best performing I can get with the Laptop I got, including accesories.

I think I won't get worried about the Power adaptor for the Dockstation... it looks has been released also with 120W transformers on earlier times ( units without smart pin ):

and the specs ( volts and amps )  on the bottom label of the dock meets with the 120W power adater I already have. 135W are more amps and volts.

youd best get the T7200, T7400 or T7600 if using that chipset

LOL... juts laugh... got yesterday an used T7200 allmost on the same price than the T5600... NOW HAVE TO SELL THE T5600

does somebody wants a dockstation, couple of memories and a T5600 processor ?
