need help witch battery to get for charger, and thank you

Mostly done with restoration which battery should i get,  whitch brand, cold cranking amps, size, Etc...  69 charger 383 auto    thanks  tom      I know iv'e been asking alot of question's lately and getting good answers it's been almost 4 years since i started this project and i'm just now getting to fire this bad boy up and just want to make sure i get as much info as possible so i don't screwe it up now so i really apperciate the answers to my questions no matter how stupid some of them may sound so thank you very much ia'm sure i will have more questions soon as i will be starting the interior after i can drive my charger in and out of my garage  thanks again  tom

Could go to your local dealer and get a Mopar group 24 battery.  Just don't put cheap Walmart battery in a new resto.

Autozone has a Duralast Gold with some 1000cca -  they very rarely ever get returned either -

Not sure what Kragen sells - i would think they have something similar

I've always been stunned about the power they put out compared to other brands of the same size. I often use them in forklifts of clients that store their machines outside and they do a great job on starting big diesel engines on a cold winter morning....
I'll be using one in my car for sure, altough they're pricey.

If you are getting a restoration battery do not buy the acid filled ones with removable caps. Only buy the gel filled one with the sealed caps. The first type I mentioned are crap and don't last and are prone to cracking as well - spilling acid all over your paint.

It looks like they list all the Mopar batteries as the newer sealed type but still show some acid/dry shipped for the other brands. There probably is some old inventory out there still so make sure before you buy.

I wan't sure if you were wanting a correct-looking battery or not. If not I would probably get one of those Autozone Duralast Gold batteries like Thunder mentioned above. I have one in my Durango and it works great.

no it dosen't have to look totaly correct but i will go to dodge daler ship and see if there is a mopar battery if not i wil go with autozone thanks  tom
