Those were just Berlinetta options that were new for '84.  I know they made reference to Star Wars instrumentation, but I don't think it was a package.

I've seen a couple of them in the junkyards and a couple still driving around.  It's no scam.   It's just what passed for state of the art 20 years ago seems ancient now.

Berlinetta Star Wars is defininetly a real dashboard, I have owned one since 1989.  It is rare to find and most people are not able to drive them easily due to the instrument panel, the turn signal being one of the most difficult and the headlights, they are both flat "toggle like" switches on the dashboard.  I have heard they made around 100,000, only due to the difficulty of the difficult dashboard.  Looking for Berlinetta parts, the dashboard remains solid though.

At least with Star Trek you had useful gadgets.  Who doesn't have a communicator -
so we call them cell phones & All supermarkets use the auto doors now.  But, a
Star Wars dash wasn't practical in a dogfight or in a car at a mere 70mph
