Timkens are the only ones I'll use if I want something to last more than a couple days. I don't remember any National made bearings, Seals are the only thing i've used from them.

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

Autozone handled the Timken bearings when I bought mine.  Don't recall anybody else having them.  I was sort of surprised at this since Autozone used to mostly handle lower grade stuff.  Maybe that has changed.

I think Timken are the only ones you can count on being US made anymore (if that means something to you). SKF all used to be made in the US or Germany but now many of them are being made in Mexico. When I did the brakes on my Dakota I got Mexican SKF from Napa and promptly returned them. Then I went to Autozone and got Timken. But who knows how long it'll be before Timken caves too.

I believe Timkins are made in Canada, & and you know how the Canadians are, they do not back down or buckle under.

You got that right!
