if that car had matching motor etc & broadcast sheet ,  & i was 10 years younger !!  yes i would rebuild it , once all the rusty shrapnel has been cut off & the rest blasted or dipped ,  with all the AMD & repop stuff now , & metal cleaned up for welding !!!  not difficult to weld it back to geather , just time consuming to do a factory appearing job !!
awesome color combo  :drool5: :drool5: ,
prolly i would still take it on now !! but would have a difficult time parting with any sort of dough for it though   :scratchchin: :shruggy: :popcrn:

Yes, I would.  It has a nice color combo and being an RT makes it that much sweeter.  Granted, it probably is a money pit for those seeking a quick buck.  But, as for a keeper, it really is not that bad......

More power to you if you wanted to tackle it.   Now a days, anything can be done.   :scratchchin:

Not worth the effort.  :Twocents: you would be building a car around the VIN, rad support and trunk gutter. The three vital areas that make it a R/T car.

MoparManJim

If I had the funds, I yes I would tackle it in a heart beat matching number or not that stuff doesn't mean much to me, the car is still a car as all it is.. is just metal. If you leave the charger go because of how it looks or the shape it's in, then that would be one less charger around and yet folks bitches about the Dukes killing chargers

You'll need some deep pockets for that resto.   :Twocents:

i'd hate to see the under side of that. it is a r\t. i do kind of feel sorry for it, but not a million dollar sorry.

Absolutely not.

I'd hope someone with the funds and expertise would, but I swore this kind of thing off after going waaaay over budget on my ride, which wasn't nearly as bad as this.

Patronus

no. I wouldn't touch it. Not for free. Not even if the metal were free.

If you  have the money to dump into yes and time.   I think from my years of shopping around especially for chargers its easier to just buy one that's middle of the road and then fix it up from there.   that's a big project for any beginner or person doing it for fun

TeeWJay426

NFW.... too far gone, too much $$$ to bring it back. Can't believe it's been bid up to 3K already.... when it was at a grand, I thought it was overpriced.

i live about 30 min from the car and i wouldnt wast the gas to go get it if they wanted 500 for it. but if someone wants it bad enough to drop all that cash then go for it but i think u can do better waiting,

It's up to $3k at the moment  :o

FYI, I am not interested in this one I stumbled across it and just wanted to see if you guys would tackle it. I personally would not buy it and let it die a peaceful death

I'd do it. It's more than I started with, doesn't look so bad to me.
