Seems cool but odd... How does the auction work? If any ones done this tell me what ya can and maybe how much this will go for?

Well i have seen this car listed on there before and didn't sell. so, perhaps the owner wants too much? it has a reserve. as it says on minimum bid. it is a salvage auction site. but quite a few people have been selling classic cars on there. my boss just asked me to list his fairlane on there for him.  they told me that i had to fill out a form. bring the title and the car to their lot. they list it for $125. and charge 2% for whatever it sells for if you have it on minimum bid

I can't see anywhere you can ask the seller a question?

It is an auction and you probably will not know what the car will go for. If someone wants the car real bad, then they will pay a high price for it. They sometimes sell for higher value than what they are worth.

I would be hesitant about an auction you couldn't either ask the seller questions or have the full info on the car.

Good luck with it.
Make it idiot proof, and somebody will make a better idiot!

You have to have a dealers licence to bid, except for one little area that the general public can bid on. I called the website people once to find out.

I am a registered dealer on Copart... so its like this. The seller has a number ($ figure) he wants for the car. Hence thats what the minimum bid is.
