I just wanted to show everyone the rebuilt door hinges from Paddock, cost was $164 for everything. Not bad a job.

Does that include a core charge?
Is this a new item at Paddock?
I didn't know anyone besides SMS was doing these... for $195.

You do have to send in your old hinges, and not sure where Paddock send them to, but the newspaper that they used inside the return box was from the mid west, can't remember what city it was from. the turn around time was about 2 weeks, not too bad.

as far as the lower hinges........ The s-spring type are not technically  correct for a 71 or 72. depending on build date a 73 can have either. all 74`s have the s-spring type. both types are fully interchangable though. The s-spring type were also used on 75-78 or79 on cordobas, chargers, and magnums.

When you removed your upper door hinges, did you have to take out your dash? Thanks.

Nope you can get 'em off with just removing the plastic kick panel. I did mine not too hard a job

Mine were of course missing the springs & etc like most of the 71-73s are, so I decided to get the later '70s B body S hinges and install new busings and pins.  It's not correct, but who cares they were cheap from the wrecking yard.  The busing and pin kit was only $20 or so.

It make the job a lot easier if you have a flex head wrench that can adjust the angle when loosing the bolt from inside of the car.
