Ihave a 70' dodge charger with electric motor for the headlight doors. It has a manual opener but it sure would be nice if it worked, any ideas on how to repair the motor.

Have you isolated the motor as definitely being at fault? In my experience, there are so many weak spots in the circuit (bulkhead connector, bad ground etc) that would be my starting point. Then if it is, take it out of the car, onto he bench and strip it down, checking the connection withing the motor casing, the brushes etc.
