First off I am not a trophy hound, I go to shows to see what everybody is driving and talk with others in the hobby.  We went to the Mopar meet at Virginia Motor Sports Park last Sat. and the 500 got more attention than it ever before for some reason, anyway one guy was taking a load of pictures and was asking about the history of the car. He later introduced himself as  Galen Govier ,surprised the hell out of me as I have never seen him before so I guess the car is partially documented now.  4:00 was the awards ceremony so I went to see who got what for trophies. I was dummed out not overly paying attention and I heard my name called for the first place B modified so I went up to the table and they hand me the trophy and do the picture. I have gotten a few thirds and a couple second places but this the first first place.

MoparStuart I will cut a set of fenders for you if you like. I'd do the quarters to if you want.

I was talking with Galen for about 5 min. and all of a sudden he got recognized and there  was 10 or so people around him instantly and I had the camera on me and never thought of taking pix.  I have pictures from 4 shows on film because my  scanner didn't survive the move and my digital camera needs a new battery I will get them on here ASAP
There must have been about 30 new Chargers as the   Changin Lanze   Charger club was there.

Thanks for the comments guys

Yep.  Al's car has the GN look nailed down cold.  The hood skin, spoiler, hood pins,  nicely flared fenders, no cheesy yellow letter tires either.     Beautiful car!!!
