I asked this in my project thread but anyone didn´t answer so I put this here if someone notices this..  :icon_smile_blackeye:

So, I swapped my original coil to MSD Blaster 2 coil. My original coil had some kind of capacitor connected to it´s + terminal and it was grounded to intake manifold. So, should I use that capacitor with new MSD coil or not?  :scratchchin:

MSD instructions doesn´t say anything about it, it says only that I should use 0.8 ohm ballast resistor and I used original 1.0 ohm ballast resistor because I didn´t have that 0.8 ohm resistor.

I have some kind of original electronic ignition and electronic voltage regulator. And car is '69 Charger with 440cid engine.

I would appreciate if someone answers this question

You can leave the cap off. It was installed by someone as a filter probably for radio noise.

Thanks!  :2thumbs: I was wondering that myself too, because original wiring diagram doesn´t show this capacitor at all  :shruggy:
