zzzt.

I did see that phenomenon one time, in front of a massive cold front blowing in across the Detroit river. There was only one cloud band, but it was awesome and I remember it clearly some 25-odd years later.

Pretty cool and otherworldly if there is such a term  :D like the Silver Surfer should be riding it down
I saw a huge corona one night driving home late across town , the clouds not the beer that is , it was huge, looked more like the close encounters thing happening, texted my friends from where I had left to come out and watch it. Never seen one before or since , amazing, and yeah no camera shot , damn
