Hello! Does anyone have the e-body 3 speed wiper motor diagram and/or pics for rebuilding a wiper motor for a 1971 challenger?Maybe some tips on what to do and look for when rebuilding. Thank you!

I just went through the motor and the pivots on my 70 RR.  I have some pics of some of it I can post tomorrow as I'm heading in to work in a few minutes.  When I looked them up, the Challenger and Charger both have the same part # listing in the Advance Auto cat but they only list for 72-up.  I got some of each to compare with each other and besides the plugs and wiper arm mount bracket being different and the wiper arm mount using a different size nut , seemed like they were about the same for everything else.  I mention this because if mine hadn't worked out I figured all I had to do was get the later model motor and swap a few pieces from the original. The 72-up are available but don't know why the earlier units aren't.  A few tips:  not necessarily in any order
* The plate covering the gear set has a small tab on it.  Make sure you match mark it back to the same location. pic 1
* When you take the cover off, observe how the lever attached under to the cover it fits into the mating parts in the gear.  It won't    work if you don't put it back right. pic 2
* My wires had all the insulation crumbled and off from the motor to the gear body.  They're small solid wires so handle them easy when your taking of the motor ends.  I pulled insulation off some new wires and threaded them onto the old wires and used heat shrink to hold them all in place and re-soldered them back.  You'll have to melt the solder off the harness and cover plate attachments to do it but I did one wire at a time to not cross things up.  pic 3
* After you take the wiper arm bracket off, the gear set for operating the wipers will come out.  You may have to rotate it a little bit to get it off the worm gear on the motor shaft.  Mine were in good shape so I just cleaned and re-greased them.
* The two screws on the motor end cap go all the way through to the alum housing.  Be very careful when you pull the motor assy out if you decide to do it.  Keep the end cover and motor body together.  Watch out for the wires fed through the gear housing.  If you have the housing cover off with gears out and gently move the wires out of the slot, the cover, wiring harness, and motor will come out together.  I pushed on the motor shaft gear end while holding the motor assy. and cap together to get it off.
* The end cap will have the brushes attached to it.  The springs will fly out if you not careful. The wire attached to power the brushes broke off on mine and I had to reattach it so easy does it. They're a pain to put back.

4th pic is with the new insulation on it.  I used heat shrink to recover the harness assy. too to clean it up a bit.
With the wiper motor off the car, now would be a good time to check your wiper arm pivots.  They could be worn or stiff.  I don't know if they are the same as the B-Body but here's mine.
After uncrimping the end at the blade end, the pivot shaft with come out. 5th pic
6th pic is the assy. break down
7th is back together with a cleaning and new grease. Quite a difference on how much easier it operated.
