Correct, Performer compared to SD.  Performer compared to stock cast iron HP intake was worth a little less than 0.3 sec, and over 3 mph.  I would not expect this kind of change on a stockish 383, as I had a little more cam and CR but probably similar to what the OP is considering.

For what its worth....I'm going with an old Edelbrock DP4B intake on my 383 build.  And I won't comment on the reasons why! :eek2:
