Anybody thinking of pulling the trigger.

I guess this would be the first deal they've had on the car (R/T & SRT-8) since the one week they allowed employee pricing back in January 2009.

I went to a local dealer and they had 15 on the lot in every color. The R/T with the six pack scoop and rear go wing looked pretty cool. I guess they are starting to either increase production or they're not selling.

I'm not buying (still paying education loans down), but I might be winning one in two days.  The local rod run has a red RT up for raffle ($100 a ticket/500 maximum tickets) and I have two tickets for it.  Earlier today, they had only sold around 300 by my source, so my chances are looking up......

Cars are still too damn expensive for me. Sometimes, actually, usually, it sucks being poor.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Good luck winning one Chad. Got my fingers crossed for you.

I got the deal in Jan 09.  Have really enjoyed the car and can recommend it.  This deal is definitely worth considering for those on the fence.  Since I bought mine, I've driven a new Camaro and yesterday drove a new 5.0 Mustang.  The Camaro has severe visibility problems from the drivers seat.   Sitting in the Mustang is like being a sardine in a sardine can.  Plus, effectively no back seat and tiny trunk---but love the new 412 hp engine.  I've had the Challenger on three road trips and it is very nice on the interstate--25mpg.  Go for the manual if at all possible.  It's so much fun to drive, has tons of power, and the sound is awesome.  I wanted a car like this when I graduated from college but didn't have two nickels to rub together then.  Glad USA manf finally made something worth buying.

I was going to try to buy one at the end of summer, but saw one locally just the way i wanted it, called the dealership and long story short, im picking it up Friday. althought i did not qualify for the 0%, im still happy with the deal. My wifes does not know yet. i kept on telling her "one day your gonna come home and there will be a new Challenger in the driveway".....she just said "ok" so i guess its justified. The car is a 2010 classic, trak pak, black with black stripes, sunroof, and some other stuff...sticker was 39,645 but they knocked $2100 off the price when i called, and also the $2 in mopar bucks too. I feel really fortunate, as this has been a long time coming.

I am going to pass.  It would be nice to have one, but if or when the economy really tanks, I do not want to be stuck with a $600.00 a month car payment.

I did not win it, but I came very close (two numbers off one of the tickets, I thought about buying five of them at one time and the winner would have been in that batch).  The local guy who won it was given the ticket by an old lady as a present......
