All

These are pics from last year at the New England Air Museum http://www.neam.org when I took the kids down for a Open Cockpit day. Typically, they have one on or near Father's day. I had meant to post them last year but never got to it. Since their next Cockpit day is June 20 I figured I would put them up and anyone who is interested in this stuff might have enough time to plan a trip. It was a blast and they have a ton of planes. Be warned that open cockpit days are packed. I went down for the B-29! The F-14 was another highlight for me.  :drool5:

Just about every plane/helicopter is setup for everyone to crawl through and check out. The B-29 has "guided" tours though. Hardly something to complain about as its their signature piece. I would have taken more pics but I was caught up in all the cool stuff that was there.

On the B-29 topic, If you haven't seen it the NOVA B-29 Frozen in time is excellent.

Cool. I've never had the chance to sit in one of those cockpits but I'm sure I'd love it. :2thumbs:
