The factory main caps are fine unless you're planning on making over 600hp and racing lots.  :Twocents:

I am building a 512 with a 8-71 blower,and planing to make 600-700 hp.
The car is going to be a more of a daily driver than a racecar, but at least one timecard am i going to get, so i know what my baby does on the 1/4 mile.

a little off topic but you should look into the procharger kits that the supercharger store makes. Especially of you plan on driving the car alot. That blower sticking out of the hood will get annoying.  :Twocents:

you also do not need a blower to make 600-700 hp.
