outside inside

Decided to bring the outside color, KBC05, inside. I painted the metal parts of the dash and steering column with the HOK paint and topcoated it with a clear soft touch urethane,

The vinyl parts I had to make the paint up from some old components left over from my working days but managed to get a reasonable match. Not as good as I wanted, I think the HOK stuff has some sort of brightening dye in it that I could not reproduce with solid color.

The small plastic piece on the dash is the origional color. Have to buy new kick panels and the column cover as they are polyethylene and almost unpaintable. I understand the repros are ABS.

The rest of the interior parts and seats, except the carpet and console, will be pearl white. Those are still in decent shape and I will paint those as well.

Still looking for a carpet to match the blue.
