They look like this & you can get them at Metro Parts.

Metro had a fire at their shop a while ago & not sure if they ever rebuilt.  They used to have a website but its down now.
This guy is selling Mertro's parts on ebay but doesnt have a listing for the 68-70 B body stuff....maybe contact him & see if he has any?

Please note the repro's aren't exactly like the originals as they lack a tapered screw hole for the rear of the molding....

Per, I have a pair going on my car also. Check my sig pic to get an idea what they'll look like with the sublime.
I'll post pics in the not too distant future of them installed.
I got them from Penstar Reproductions, with clips. They are the same ones Metro sells.

Thanks Bill, checked their website and it looks good but shipping? :eek2: Just think about your "little" trunkmolding. :scratchchin:

BTW, how wide are they? About 2"?

Can't get in touch with Penstar, they don't answer mail or phone. Will try Metro again and hopefully they could save their stock after the fire.

Recieved the moldings from Penstar but without clips, they will send them after calling them. Now, how do you mount the clips to make the moldings fit straight on them? :scratchchin: :scratchchin:

Per, I'll be installing my rocker moldings hopefully soon. Keep a watch out.  :scope:

If they're not already there, you need to drill holes in your rockers & fender for the clips. There is a pin that is in the center of the clip, that you push through the clip that holds it into the hole. The moldings then snap on the clips.
Last I saw, the clips were like $50 bucks for a set!  :o

And most importantly, the holes MUST be in a straight line.

Yikes, $50 for a set?
I'll reuse my original moldings since they are pretty reusable after a polish.....but I killed the clips when removing them, I guess the plastic got brittle and made the clips weak. However, I don't have the hole problem sinc they are already there.....

Clips arrived today so I have some work again while waiting for the brakeparts. :yesnod: Do I drill with the dimension of the
outside of the guiding for the pin? :scratchchin: How excact must the drillbit be in dimension?

Per,

Measure the thickness of the base of the pin on the clip itself. Then drill the holes that size.
After you put the clip in the hole, then you push the pin in the clip so the little "fingers" on the back will spread and cause the clip to get really stuck

Only way of removing things like these is pushing the little platic pin all the way trough the clip before praying the clip itsellf loose.

One shortside of the molding is curved, the other one more straight, which side is for the front? :scratchchin:
