My thought is that regardless of any funny looking engine stampings, that car looks absolutely gorgeous!

I guess he didn't pull the tranny or motor when he stamped them.   :lol:

The VIN Stamps on the engine and transmission have been examined and confirmed original by an acknowledged Mopar expert.  :scratchchin:

Well, as the build date on the fender tag is May 9th, 1968, it tracks that the build date on the A833 is May 2nd, 1968. The stampings do look a bit poorly placed, but it matches. I would like to see the stampings on the radiator support and trunk lip. but the owner probably wouldn't like taking a paint scraping off of it.  :icon_smile_big:  Very nicely done car.  :yesnod:
