I am about to install a MSD Digital 6, Blaster SS coil, and MSD distributor.  I am looking for pictures of how others have installed their's.  I have mocked up a couple of different ways but haven't found one I like, so I am looking for some assistance.

aifilaw

I put mine under the heater box. no pics though.
I did it back when drag racing a lot, to keep the heat off of it, it was partially visible, but didn't really interfere with the toes of the passenger.

I think if I ever use one I'll put it under the battery tray. I've heard of people putting them in the glove box? Not sure if I like that idea but it would be invisible.

I have put them under the battery tray along with relays for the headlights - makes the most sense to me - keeps it outta the way and out of sight.

Mine's in the glove box. Stays clean and cool. Less stuff in the engine bay. :icon_smile_cool:

I don't have one, but the place I would put it is the passender side footwell/firewall, beside the heater box as aifilaw said.
I think NorwayCharger put his inside the passenger fender, behind the rear splash shield.

Another place to hide the box is under the console (if you have one) in front of the shifter.

I mounted it under the driver's seat in my '68. Ran the cable under the carpet & out the unused 4-spd hole grommet in the firewall.

Here's a close-up shot while putting my '69 together. My dad made a nice, neat bracket bracket out of polished stainless steel to mount the MSD on the firewall. I mocked it up using some cardboard, & he bent it on a brake out of stainless.
It uses the unused factory holes for the ballast resistor & voltage regulator to mount the bracket. I'm running a one-wire alternator with a built in regulator, so I didn't need the firewall mounted one. Even clears the 6-pack air cleaner.

Also if you havent purchased your MSd box yet I highly recommend the 6AL2 - it is significantly smaller in side and has a built in 2 step rev limited
