Is it just me or does that hood appear to have more than just a little damage on one corner?
I would like to find a solid rust free original Superbird hood for my car. Tom made me a hood that looks real nice, but it would be even better to find an original.

"Excellent shape only way to get one better is n.o.s. "    Yes, really crappy, bent-up, dinged up NOS.

He paid a lot " back in the day ".  I don't think the hood is that bad for such a rare part.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

You're probably right. If I lived closer, I would definitely go look at the hood at that price. I would hate to buy it, have it shipped and then not be able to repair it.

I remember all those parts from ebay. the hood is trashed  rather make one myself.  theirs lotsa rust  don;t be fooled.  the wing is way to high ,  the  nose is ok.  needs a couple weeks of metal work,
