KMPX2- parts are cheap theirs a amc supply warehouse in west jefferson ohio if I can find out were that is, the funny think is its not near jefferson ohio were I go to school at.

great looking project, hope you get it! I came within months og Dad giving me a '69 Javelin for my first car. He bought it for a work car in 1979 for $100. Body was totally solid, interior was perfect. Had been a 343 auto, but the coworker he bought it from had blown the 343 up and put in a straight 6. One morning he left for work, and was only about a 1/2 mile from home when the headlights quit. While he was under the hood, he heard another car screaming up the road. He dove in the weeds, and the other car plowed into the back of the Javelin......in a '71 Javelin. Pushed the gas take of ours into the rear seat compartment. For some unknown reason there was no fire.Butthead was comming home from the bar drunk as a skunk.
