Hey guys, I have a '70 that I have owned for a while... I know it's not #matching and it's far from original (the fender tag calls for a triple green automatic and it's a burnt orange 4 speed) I got into decoding that tag and stuff and I cant find the VIN on the body at all... no door tag or radiator support stamp.  Where is it supposed to be in the trunk area?  Do I have to pull the weatherstripping off to find it?

Typically, you would have to pull the weather strip to view the stamp. Are you sure your core support doesn't have too much paint on it and thus submerging the stamp in paint? Not uncommon for the driver's door decal to be missing........

Where exactly on the radiator and the trunk would they be? (drivers side, passenger side , etc)

it is closer to the driver's side. typically on 68 and 69 it's on top of the rad support, but if i remember right, on a 70, it's on the inside of that channel, still driver's side. in the trunk on the lip, it is on the driver's side going up from the tail panel.. a few inches up.. it's underneath the weatherstrip and usually hard to read, sometimes cut off.
hope this helps
