Well, after waiting 2 years, and getting 8 inches of snow the day before, I thought this day would never come. The snow on Friday really put a damper on getting the 71 out to the bodyshop this weekend.

I knew I’d never get the car trailer out of my backyard with all the white stuff on the ground so I started to look for other options. It wasn’t until my next door neighbor stepped up and volunteered to use his enclosed trailer to help out. We had to unload his modified first, but if it wasn’t for him I would have been SOL for the weekend!

Even though she hasn’t been out of the garage in a long time, she still looks good!

Snug as a bug in a rug! That’s my good friend Scott on the left and Mike my next door neighbor on the right. Mike…you’re a lifesaver!!!!

She’s here, after a 2 year wait! Next time I see her, she will be back to her original color…F7.

Her new home until the spring!

There are some "issues" with some rot in the wheelwells and trunk floor, as well as a desire to return her back to her original color.

Yoo, Doug... She looks great there......

But, I have to ask, why is she so high? Those rear springs look like SuperStock..........

Man, she's going to be a beauty....... What's the original color anyways?

Just kidding, that looks like a very nice project! It's great that you've got good, willing neighbors. :yesnod:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

No, that is a picture of one just like it. Same color except for vinyl roof and rubber bumpers.

I love to see original/copies of the window sticker to see the differences in list price. For comparison my 71 SE came to $4,864 vs. your R/T at $4.571 and my base was $3,422 vs. your R/T at $3,750. And the 383 Magnum option was $144 vs $125 for the 440 six pack. Mine came with air ($388), auto ($237) & the A04 Radio Group ($204) to put me over the top. Wanna compare values now?   ;D
